Vibe Coding App Maintenance

You built it with AI. We'll harden it, grow it, and keep it running.

Capricon takes over AI-built products from Lovable, Bolt.new, Cursor, v0, Base44, and ChatGPT workflows once you have users or revenue. We audit, harden, host, maintain, and develop without forcing a rewrite. Serving Sri Lanka and remote founders internationally.

Who this is for

Founders and operators who shipped fast with AI builders and now need production ownership.

  • You launched on Lovable, Bolt, Cursor, v0, Base44, or ChatGPT and now have real users or paying customers
  • Security, RLS, hosting, backups, and incident response are outside your comfort zone
  • The backlog of bugs, edge cases, and feature requests is growing faster than you can ship alone
  • Your original builder left, went quiet, or was never a production engineering partner
  • You need Sri Lanka–based or remote Capricon capacity without hiring a full in-house team yet

Engagement models

Pick the commercial shape that matches your stage. Most founders start with a takeover audit, then choose AMC, a dedicated squad, revenue share, or a platform escape.

  • Takeover audit — repo, auth, RLS, secrets, hosting, observability, and risk map with a written remediation plan
  • Production harden + AMC — stabilize production, then ongoing maintenance with clear SLA and change-request boundaries
  • Staff outsourcing / dedicated squad — embedded Capricon engineers on your backlog with delivery oversight
  • Revenue-share hybrid — lower upfront build/maintain cost plus a defined percentage of MRR or GMV when economics fit
  • Platform escape — migrate off Lovable (or similar) onto owned Next.js, Supabase, and git when lock-in or limits hurt

What Capricon does not do

We partner with AI-built products. We do not sell fear or unnecessary rewrites.

  • Attack Lovable, Bolt, or other builders as products — they are fine starting points; production ownership is the gap we fill
  • Force a full rewrite by default — we harden and extend what works, and migrate only when constraints or risk justify it
  • Pretend vibe-coded MVPs need zero engineering once users arrive — security, ops, and backlog are real work
  • Take ownership of your IP or product strategy unless a revenue-share agreement explicitly defines commercial terms

Process: audit → harden → host & monitor → maintain & develop

  • Audit — access, architecture, auth, data model, RLS, secrets, deploy path, and known incidents
  • Harden — fix critical security and reliability gaps; document what must wait
  • Host and monitor — production hosting, backups, uptime checks, and escalation paths you can rely on
  • Maintain and develop — AMC for stability plus scoped feature work, or a dedicated squad on your roadmap
  • Review — regular check-ins on risk, backlog, and whether AMC, outsourcing, or rev-share still fits

Buyer checklist

Questions to ask before you hand over an AI-built app

Use this with Capricon or any vibe coding agency claiming production readiness.

  • Will I keep full code ownership and access to git, hosting, and cloud accounts?
  • What is in a takeover audit versus what becomes a separate harden or migrate project?
  • How do you separate AMC bugfixes from net-new feature work?
  • When is revenue share appropriate, and how are MRR/GMV and exit terms defined?
  • Can you support Lovable + Supabase as-is, or do you require an immediate platform escape?
  • Who handles security reviews, RLS, and secrets rotation after go-live?

Frequently asked questions

Can Capricon take over a Lovable or Supabase app?
Yes. We take over Lovable-exported or connected codebases, Supabase projects, and similar stacks from Bolt, Cursor, v0, and Base44. The first step is a takeover audit so scope, access, and risk are explicit before AMC or development work starts.
Do I keep code ownership?
Yes. You retain ownership of your code, data, and cloud accounts unless a written agreement says otherwise. Capricon works in your repos and environments with role-based access. Exit includes documentation and credential handback.
What does this typically cost (order of magnitude)?
Takeover audits are usually a fixed short engagement. Production harden plus AMC often sits in a monthly retainer band sized to app complexity and SLA. Dedicated squads cost more than AMC because they own backlog velocity. Revenue-share hybrids lower cash upfront when Capricon shares upside risk. Exact quotes follow the audit — we do not publish fake package prices.
When does revenue share make sense?
When you have clear monetization (MRR or GMV), want lower upfront engineering cost, and both sides can define percentage, caps, duration, and exit. It is a poor fit for pre-revenue experiments or products without measurable commercial metrics.
How is this different from software AMC vs team outsourcing?
AMC keeps an in-scope production system stable with SLA boundaries. Team outsourcing embeds Capricon capacity on your roadmap for ongoing development. Many vibe-coded products need both: AMC for reliability and a squad or project hours for growth. See our Software AMC and Team Outsourcing pages for the pure forms of each model.
Do you work with Sri Lanka and remote international founders?
Yes. Capricon is based in Sri Lanka and regularly works remotely with founders and operators outside Sri Lanka. Engagements are scoped in writing with timezone-aware communication and clear owners.
How do you handle security and Supabase RLS?
Audits review auth flows, Row Level Security policies, service-role key usage, secrets storage, and environment separation. Hardening prioritizes data exposure and privilege gaps before cosmetic feature work. You remain the data controller for your users’ data.
What if the original AI builder or freelancer is gone?
Common case. We reconstruct access where possible, map the stack from what remains, and document assumptions. If accounts or source are locked, the audit states blockers honestly before you spend on rebuild or platform escape.
Will you force us off Lovable onto Next.js?
No. Platform escape is an option when hosting limits, vendor lock-in, or architecture risk justify it — not the default. Many products stay on their current stack while we harden, monitor, and maintain.
